Thursfields Solicitors’ Director and Head of Wills & Estates, Ian Bond, has joined Arken’s Legal Advisory Board.
Founded by private client solicitors in 1992, legal expertise remains the backbone of Arken.legal’s estate planning solutions – from conception to ongoing development. The Legal Advisory Board continues this important involvement, consisting of highly experienced legal professionals with extensive experience in the private client sector.
Ian, Member and former Chair of The Law Society of England & Wales’ Wills & Equity Committee and contributor to The Law Society publication The Probate Practitioners Handbook; the 9th edition, joins Christopher Brewer, David Barnes and Samantha Warner on the Board, which is responsible for discussing practitioner need for new products, highlighting industry pain points, providing feedback on existing solutions and how they can be adapted for changing client needs, ensuring best practice is upheld in response to changes to the law, as well as reviewing output of client focus groups.
“Ian’s wealth of experience and industry intelligence is invaluable,” comments Head of Product at Arken.legal, Samantha Warner. “Ensuring our solutions meet both the immediate and future requirements of both practitioners and their clients, especially during a time when agility is key to business continuity and growth, is our number one priority. We’re thrilled to have Ian on board.”
“It’s fantastic to be closely involved in the early stages of Arken.legal’s product development, as well as the evolution of its existing solutions,” comments Ian. “I’m thrilled to be involved with a company that ensures its products solve immediate pain points, while looking at the wider picture for the industry. We need more companies to be doing this – listening to the market, while showing a clear route to digitising businesses to become more efficient, and more protected against the future. Other industries are a lot further ahead – it’s time to catch up.”
