Bethany Crease, Senior Marketing Manager
When did you start at Arken? 20th September 2021
Responsible for: Marketing strategy & lead generation
Happiest when: Walking my dog, Peanut. Or reading a good book.
Where is your favourite place to be? In a sunny pub garden, somewhere in the countryside, with friends, family and our dogs.
Best place you’ve travelled to? Tokyo, Japan and Kenya, Africa.
Favourite line from a movie? The ones I like have swear words in them… so I probably shouldn’t repeat them here.
How would you best describe Arken? An innovative and friendly company, with a smart and comprehensive tool set for estate planning professionals.
Something you learned in the last week? I’ve already learnt so much about estate planning, and how people can plan for the ones they love. I’ve learnt I need to put a will together!
Why have you made the move into legal technology? The legal sector has a big opportunity to digitise it’s services, improve customer experience, operational efficiency and attract millennial clients. The uptake of technology during the pandemic, has helped reveal the benefits that technology can bring to these organizations, and I think the appetite to continue digitally transforming will continue.
What does a 4 day working week mean to you? To me, a 4-day working week means I can spend more time on my hobbies, catch up with jobs outside the office and have more time to simply ‘switch off’ and recharge.

Where is your favourite place to be? On holiday in a hot country.
Best place you’ve travelled to? New York at Christmas time.
Favourite line from a movie? “If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love, actually, is all around”
How would you best describe Arken? A forward-thinking company who are wholeheartedly committed to customer success and employee happiness.
Something you learned in the last week? Why it is so important to have a will, no matter how old you are.
If you could meet anyone, who would it be? George Michael.
Why have you made the move into legal technology? I studied Marketing at university and my favourite module was law. After that I always wanted to do a job in marketing that was related to law in some way, so when I was offered this job at Arken, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to fulfil my ambition.
What does a 4 day week mean to you? Having the extra day off each week makes more time for family, friends and personal development. It gives you more of a work life balance which really helps to keep you motivated and feel appreciated at work.
