Office Life

When we’re in the office and not working remotely, it’s a relaxed atmosphere, we have sit-stand desks, a large collaboration area, a boardroom and quiet spaces to suit any working style.

But we know it’s not all about work, so while you’re here, why not challenge our resident Fifa champions on the PlayStation, go for a stroll in the countryside, or grab a speciality coffee in one of our fantastic local bakeries.

Our office is based in Westerham in Kent.

Hybrid Working

We have flexibility around remote working. Our teams can choose to work from home two days per week!

Fun Team Days

Our team have the opportunity to attend regular team days out, sometimes it’s a summer BBQ with games and sometimes it’s learning how to make cocktails. It varies, as our CEO is always looking for new fun things we can do together as a team.

There’s also a surprising number of pubs near the office and we sometimes nip out for a quick drink after work.

The Resident Dogs

The Arken team are big fans of having dogs in the office and we have a few office regulars. To be honest, it’s rare we don’t have a dog in with us.

Informal Chat With Arken Recruiter

After you apply for a job or send your CV to a recruiter, our recruiting team evaluates your skills and experience related to the qualifications of the job you’ve applied for. If you are selected to advance in the process, you’ll hear from an Arken recruiter. You’ll have an informal conversation with them and you’ll learn more about the role you’ve applied for and what it’s like to work at Arken. 

Phase 2
Interview With Hiring Manager

The second phase of the hiring process is to have an online video interview with a hiring manager. This interview aims to evaluate your experience, your interest in and ability to do the day-to-day work of the role we’re hiring for. You will also learn more about the role and team at Arken.

Phase 3
Interview and Meet the Team

The final phase of the hiring process will be an onsite interview, or virtual onsite interview, where you will meet your manager and the team you will be working with. You will have the opportunity to learn even more about Arken, and for us to better understand your professional experience and talents.

When all the interviews are complete, the people you spoke with submit their feedback on your interview performance and we assess whether you’d be successful in the role we’re hiring for, or if there’s another role at Arken that makes sense for you.

After your final interview, you’ll hear from your recruiter again. If you receive a job offer, you can discuss the details with them. After you accept the offer, you’ll work together to determine start date, complete paperwork, and finalise other details.
